INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER AT RISD. I DESIGN PRODUCTS AND WORK OUT HOW TO MAKE THEM — PROTOTYPE TO PRODUCT.
about
Adhvik Aggarwal is an Industrial Design student at the Rhode Island School of Design (BFA ’27). His work sits between design and fabrication — moving from CAD to physical prototype across machining, carbon layups, 3D printing, and clay modeling. At RISD he runs the Industrial Design CAD Lab as Head Monitor and leads the steering subsystem on RISD ASTRO, the school’s NASA HERC rover team (2nd place 2025, Phoenix Award, Best Task Tool Award). Past internships include Direct Create and Vyom Architects in New Delhi, working between handicraft, manufacturing, and brand. He also writes and illustrates for Desi-gned, New England’s first South Asian diaspora magazine.
